The Belleville Minor Football League is staging a two hour pre season camp tomorrow (Sat) at the Loyalist College dome.
The camp is being organized by “No limits your organization” and is open to players from grades 6 to 9.
The cost is a $10 donation which will go toward offsetting costs to help Belleville native Derek Wendel achieve his dream of playing pro football. Wendel recenlty completed his fifth year as quarterback of the Ottawa U. GeeGees. Wendel was runner-up for the Hec Crighton Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in Canadian University football.
Wendel will be in attendance for the camp which runs tomorrow from 5 until 7 at the dome. No equipment is needed
