MP Neil Ellis says money is coming for a Veterans Health Care Centre, but it is still not known if Trenton will be the hub for that.
Following the budget release Wednesday, the Bay of Quinte member tells Quinte News they have earmarked $17.5 million for a site, but he says where that will be has not been determined.
Ellis says he is pushing for Trenton to be the location for that centre, however he says it’s yet to be determined.
The Trenton Memorial Hospital will become a health centre hub, with a number of services expected under the same roof.
