Parents concerned about potential school closures and consolidations in Centre Hastings will have one more chance to voice their opinions tomorrow.
The Hastings and Prince Edward School Board is holding its final public input session on the matter at Centre Hastings Secondary School, in the gymnasium, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Initial reports to the board call for the closure of the Madoc Township Public School, with students moving to Madoc Public School in town and grade seven and eight students shifting to empty space at Centre Hastings Secondary School.
The board will make a final decision on June 19th, as it tries to deal with declining enrolment and millions of dollars in renewal needs, at schools across the board, over the next five years.
