A couple of former Quinte Red Devils have put the Wellington Dukes down 2-0 in their OJHL semi final series with the Cobourg Cougars.
Josh Maguire and Napanee native Ryan Casselman scored 1:50 apart mid way in the third period as Cobourg downed Wellington 3-1 last night. Maguire scored twice on the night. Colin Doyle responded for the Duke. The Cougars held a 45-28 advantage in shots including 18-6 in the third period.
Cobourg will also host game 3 tomorrow night. Game 4 is in Wellington Thursday night.
The Trenton Golden Hawks are home to the Stouffville Spirit for game 3 of their North-East Conference semi final tonight. Trenton leads 2-0. Game time is 7:30 at the Community Gardens.
