Tenders are going out soon for a big rebuild of the swing bridge over the Murray Canal south of Brighton on County Road 64.
The City of Quinte West is hosting a public meeting on the project tonight (Wednesday) from 6 till 8 in the council chambers.
Parks Canada staff will be on hand providing information on the project. Construction is expected to start this fall.
The total cost is set at around $8,000,000.
