The number of City of Quinte West employees earning $100,000 or more has grown considerably.
Last year, Quinte West’s Sunshine List contained 42 people. In 2015, just 26 earned enough to make the list.
Among the 42 on last year’s list are 14 members of the fire department.
As far as municipal employees are concerned, CAO Charlie Murphy was the highest paid at over $163,000, followed by the Director of Public Works Chris Angelo at $151,000 dollars.
A few members of the water and wastewater department earned similar or higher salaries.
