A local MP had a chance to sit down with the Governor of Nevada Thursday.
Northumberland Peterborough South MP Kim Rudd met with Governor Brian Sandoval in Carson City, Nevada to discuss trade.
The talk also centred around investment, job creation and the mining sector.
Rudd says she met with officials connected to mining, which she says accounts for $2.4 billion U.S. in exports for the state.
It included a round table which focused on the mutual benefit for the state and Canada.
Since the election of Donald Trump, Canada has focused on the trade partnership with the Americans, our nation’s largest importer of goods.
