That from an official news release issued by SkyPower, the company planning to complete wind farms in southern Prince Edward County by the year 2010.
Municipal council was quick to point out at a public meeting Wednesday that no applications have yet been approved for any wind farms in the County.
On Friday, the Ontario Power Authority signed a 20-year deal with SkyPower to purchase any power it generates from its windmills.
