Spring is here and with it comes Countylicious.
Chefs gathered at Parsons Brewing Company on Monday to kick-off the spring event. Chef Lili Sullivan of Pomodoro in Wellington says that the growing craft beer scene in the area makes this year even more exciting. “In addition to dozens of local wine pairings, diners now have more options for local craft beverages.”
This year 13 restaurants are participating: Agrarian, Amelia’s Garden, Clara’s, East and Main Bistro, The Courage Cafe and Bar, The Merrill Inn, Portabella, Pomodoro, Public School House at Jackson’s Falls, The Hubb, The Drake Devonshire and two first timers to Countylicious, The County Canteen and Soup Opera.
Nathan Coventry, chef at Clara’s in the county, says it’s a great community event that’s all about food.
This year spring Countylicious runs from March 31 to April 23. For more information visit countylicious.com.
