The man known as the “Jay Walking Bandit” is expected to enter a plea later this week after being charged with a string of bank robberies in this part of the province.
30 year old Tristan Drouin of Quebec was arrested last November and charged with 8 counts of armed robbery.
One of the bank heists occurred in downtown Trenton.
Drouin is expected to plead guilty this Friday morning at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse.
He was called the Jay Walking Bandit because he wore a Blue Jays hat and casually walked away from robbery scenes.
