Eldorado goes to the dogs this weekend. The annual Gold Cup Sled Dog Races launch the winter Quad Cup series with dog teams coming into Madoc Township from across Ontario, Quebec and the U-S. Organizer Sandra Hannah says the course is in perfect condition. It’s hoped as many as twenty teams will participate in the 50-mile race on Saturday. The Little Nippers race takes place at 2pm for children aged 4-to-14 at the ballpark….and, the event wraps up with a roast beef dinner Saturday night.
