Rain and warm temperatures lately have caused a problem along Belleville’s river waterfront trail.
The city issued a warning Monday that rising water levels along sections of the waterfront trail on the river have resulted in closures, until further notice.
The closures are:: The north part of the Riverfront Trail between Front Street and Pinnacle Street Bridges, and the Lions Park Trail System near the cenotaph, north of the walking bridge that crosses the river at Lions Park.
