Belleville’s Downtown DocFest is in full swing. Over 700 people filled the Empire Theatre last night for the opening gala.
They were entertained with the documentary, “Music of Strangers”, featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma and a live musical performance by Canadian blues/swing singer Denielle Bassels and the MacDaddy’s.

DocFest features 50 documentary films, short and long. If seating is available, tickets are available at the door. Venues include the Belleville Public Library, the John M. Parrott Art Gallery, Pinnacle Playhouse, and the Empire Theatre. DocFest detail available here.
