Once again the public is being warned about the dangers of rising water levels in Quinte area waterways.
Quinte Conservation has extended its Water Safety Statement for another week.
Spokesperson Jennifer May-Anderson says it has been early for high levels of water in lakes, rivers and streams.
She says, “First the ice began to melt…”
She says it’s just a reminder to the public to be careful around the waterways.
May-Anderson also reminds the public that water in culverts and ditches can be dangerous as well.
