We have a new high temperature record for a February 18th.
According to Environment Canada, using measurements from CFB Trenton, the mercury
climbed to 10.6 degrees celsius yesterday, narrowly beating the record of 10.3 degrees, set
in 2011.
We’re in line for another record high today.
Currently, the warmest February 19 in our area occurred in 1994, when the temperature got up to 9 degrees.
Environment Canada is predicting a high of 10 degrees today (Sunday).
