The Wellington Dukes are in a battle in the middle of the Northeast Conference playoff hunt. With three games left on the season, the Dukes are playing some of their best hockey of the year. They have won 8 of their last 10 and sit in 5th place, if the playoffs started today.
They welcome the second worst team in the OJHL, the Pickering Panthers Friday night. They play the Panthers twice and see Whitby in their final match up of the regular season, a team they very well may meet in the first round.
Coach Marty Abrams says they have to be consistent.

The Trenton Golden Hawks have a big night Friday for two reasons. Not only will it be a battle of the two best teams in the OJHL, it is also Pink in the Rink night. Trenton and Georgetown play at 7:30 p.m, 7:20 p.m on 800 CJBQ. Georgetown has a six point lead on Trenton for top spot and Trenton has a game in hand (5 remaining)
Coach Jerome Dupont says Georgetown has proven they are elite.
The local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society will benefit from the Pink in the Rink jersey auction. Trenton will wear pink shirts, which will be available to the public.
Luisa Sorrentino is with the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society and says the relationship with the team is amazing.
