Around 30 teams hit the outdoor ice at the Batawa Community Centre this weekend for the annual Trenton Pond Hockey tournament.
The event featured authentic pond hockey rules, and was part of the annual weekend, which also featured a gala and Senators Owner Eugene Melnyk.
Melnyk says he was proud to be at the event, which raised money for Wounded Warriors Canada and the local hospital foundation.
BCR Rangers would win the tournament, which saw perfect weather throughout.
The final tally is not known, however it is believed tens of thousands of dollars was raised.
