Belleville Police Service responded to 36 calls for service from the 5th of February 2017 at 5:00 a.m. to the 6th of May 2017 at 5:00 a.m.
Break and Enter
On the 5th of February 2017 at approximately 1:00 p.m. police arrested a male with regards to an ongoing break and enter investigation where a garage was entered and tools stolen. Sixty-three year old Kingston resident Kenneth Hartlin was charged with one count of break, enter and theft and released on a promise to appear with a March court date.
Assault
On the 5th of February 2017 shortly after 2:30 p.m., police were called to a city residence with regards to a domestic situation. Investigation resulted in a 54 year old city male being arrested and charged with assault. He was released on a promise to appear with a February court date. Names are being withheld for protection of the victim.
