Eugene Melnyk will be the guest speaker Friday at the 2017 Pond Hockey Gala Dinner and Auction.
The owner of the Ottawa and Belleville Senators will speak before the sold out audience in Batawa about hockey, his life in it and the future American Hockey League team in Quinte.
Jeffrey Moorhouse is the event organizer and Melnyk has helped push ticket sales over the top.
Moorhouse says they will also have a key note talk on PTSD.
Wounded Warriors Canada and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation will be the beneficiaries of proceeds.
