Different partner. Same result.
Brighton’s Trennt Michaud and Evelyn Walsh who skates out of London have won gold in the “Junior Pairs” event at the Canadian Tire National Figure Skating Championships in Ottawa.
Last year Michaud won the same event with then partner Hope McLean.
The Belleville born Michaud, a graduate of the Prince Edward Figure Skating Club and Walsh blew away the field in yesterday’s free program. In an interview on the “Skate Canada” website (CTNSC17:) Michaud says everything came together.
Michaud and Walsh will now wait to see if they qualify for the Junior World Figure Skating Championships in Taipei China.
