Tweed firefighters were called out to a house north of Tweed after a basement filled up with smoke early this morning (Monday).
When firefighters arrived at the home at 83 Gallagher Road they quickly dealt with a small fire involving a woodstove.
They ventilated the house. There were no injuries.
The call came in at just after 4 o’clock this morning.
