A coroner’s inquest into the death of two inmates at Joyceville Institution will begin at the end of the month.
The East Regional Coroner’s Office says the inquest will look into the deaths of 53 year-old Denis Guerin and 66 year-old Angus Snow, who died at the Kingston facility in 2015.
The three-day proceedings will examine the circumstances surrounding the two deaths and the jury may make recommendations on how to prevent similar incidents.
The inquest will run for three days, starting January 31st, at the Napanee Superior Courthouse and about nine witnesses are expected to be called.
