The Trenton Golden Hawks have an achilles heel and it is the Whitby Fury.
After losing to Whitby December 2nd Trenton reeled off 9 straight victories, until losing 4-1 in Whitby last night. Dawson Baker’s penalty shot in the last minute of the game was the Hawks lone goal as Whitby’s Austin Cain turned away 39 shots.
The Golden Hawks are in Markham Friday night. CJBQ will have play by play.
The Wellington Dukes suffered a similar road fate dropping a 4-1 decision to St. Mikes. Mitchell Mendonca scored Wellington’s lone goal. Nicholas Mueller turned aside 38 shots for the Buzzers.
The Dukes travel to Lindsay on Friday.
