Another scam coming to your mailbox in the Quinte region. Listeners are calling, telling of receiving a letter post-marked in Spain. It tells you you’ve won a vast number of Euro’s in what’s called the El Gordo Spanish Sweepstakes Lottery. You’re asked to contact a person, and be ready to pay 10 percent of the winnings to receive your prize.
This, of course, is a fraud. Rip up and ignore.
