Two Quinte-area hospital foundations got a belated Christmas gift from a long-time local business.
On Tuesday morning, McInroy-Maines Construction made a combined $50,000 donation to the Belleville General and Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundations, with each getting $25,000.
The company made the donation to celebrate 50 years of business in our community.
As with all donations to local hospital foundations, the money will go towards priority medical equipment and other expenses not funded by the provincial and federal governments.
