The Belleville Police Service responded to 50 calls for service between December 20th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and December 21st, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Arrest on warrant
On December 20th, 2016, at 9:53 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a male on Alexander Street who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaching his recognizance. 33 year-old Ryan Hinks of Belleville was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Recovered stolen bicycle
On December 20th, 2016, at 4:21 p.m. officers attended on Front Street in relation to a sighting of a stolen bicycle which had been reported one week ago. 35 year-old James Wardhaugh of Belleville was arrested for being in possession of stolen property. The value of the bicycle was $800.00. He will appear in court on January 26th, 2017.
