As we continue to look back at 2016, the focus was roads for Tyendinaga Township.
A number of upgrades, including a resurfacing of a portion of Old Highway 2 was on the docket.
Reeve Rick Phillips says for being such a small municipality, they managed to get a lot done.
Phillips says Highway 2 was a difficult project, because they were not able to get financial assistance.
Phillips says the municipality also did their first ever Santa Claus parade, which was done completely on ATVs.
The CP crossing on Weese Road was also a focus.
Phillips also served his final year as Warden of Hastings County.
