The Belleville Police Service responded to 47 calls for service between November 29th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and November 30th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Assault – Belleville ON
Police started an investigation regarding an assault that took place on Front Street, on the 27th day of November 2016. Investigation revealed a 22 year old Belleville male had assaulted another male over some money issues . On the 29th day of November 2016 at 10:50 p.m. police arrested the 22 year male for one count of assault. The male was later released from Belleville Police custody on a Promise to Appear, only to be arrested on an outstanding warrant by the Kingston Police Service for a serious offence which happened in Kingston. The male was taken to Kingston and will appear in court for a bail hearing today
