Belleville Police Service responded to 56 calls for service between November 26th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and November 27th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.

At 3:30 this morning city police stopped a vehicle on College St W. Upon further investigation during the stop, police seized a small quantity of crack cocaine, crystal meth and hydromorphine. A set of brass knuckles were also seized which are a prohibited weapon.
Eric Vining of Belleville was charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Amanda Hewitt was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance, 1 count of carrying a prohibited weapon and 1 count of driving under suspension.
Vining & Hewitt are scheduled to attend court on the 22nd of December 2016.
