The province is finalizing a trio of funding boosts for local hospital organizations.
MPP Lou Rinaldi announced today, Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Northumberland Hills Hospital and the Quinte Health Care Corporation are all getting bumps up in funding from the province, in an attempt to reduce wait times and support increased access to services.
Campbellford Memorial will get $136,900, Northumberland Hills is getting $916,700 and QHC will get $1.82 million, to split between its four hospitals.
Rinaldi says the investment makes sure that every private hospital in the province received at least a two percent increase to base funding this year.
