65 athletes from the Belleville Youth Swim Team took part in a pair of competitions.
In Amherstview Tess Friar and Victor Coutu had 5 first place finishes in their respective events. Also finishing first were Alexa Buchanan, Alex Clazie, Charlotte Coutu, Isabella Dean, Owen Googe, Jayden MacDonald, Saidie Morphet, Joseph West, Emeline Williams and Justin Zechel.
At the Pan Am pool in Scarborough, Ashley Allaire won 3 silver medals and established best times in all 17 of her races. Melissa Dingle earned 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. Morgan Clark and Katelyn Cairns won two silver.
This weekend the Belleville Youth Swim Team will host hundreds of athletes at the Templeman Menninga Aquatic Centre at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. The public is welcome.
