It was our first snowfall, and it caused a lot of mayhem later yesterday and into the evening in the Quinte region.
Snow and blowing snow caused treacherous driving conditions and there were literally dozens of accidents.
Most of them involved cars or trucks sliding off into ditches, but there were some multi-vehicle collisions as well.
A few of the accidents involved injuries, with collisions occurring on highways and sideroads alike.
This morning, driving conditions continue to be much less than perfect, so give yourself extra time.
A little more snow is expected today.
