The Walmart store in Trenton is closed all day today after an early morning fire.
Around 3 o’clock fire alarms and sprinklers in the back of the store went off and staff evacuated.
Quinte West firefighters responded and found flames in a storage room near the shoe department.
The fire was contained to the storage room, and was out before 4 this morning, however there is smoke and water damage throughout the store.
The store will be closed all day today.
No one was injured, and the investigation for a cause is underway.
