Tonight (Monday), a Quinte region businessman will take part in a national conversation on how to build an economy centred on small business startups, with a focus on the creative, rather than on manufacturing.
The Chair of the newly formed local private sector group, QuinteVation, Ryan Williams will be representing our region in the last of a national series of Round Table events aimed at pushing the development of a creative economy to boost prosperity.
The discussions are spearheaded by Startup Canada, Google Canada, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
Ryan Williams will focus on how entrepreneurs in a creative economy could flourish in the Quinte region with its quality of life and ideal location.
You can take part in tonight’s event through Twitter. The live-stream starts at 7:15 tonight and can be found on Google’s homepage or on QuinteVation’s social media sites.
