Members of the Tyendinaga Mohawk community are standing in solidarity with those fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline.
This past Friday, a group of supporters set up a camp at the corner of Old Highway 2 and Shannonville Road, where they have been peacefully protesting the pipeline, in conjunction with their Standing Rock brothers and sisters.
One supporter, who asked not to be named, says the fight for water is for everyone.
He says they have received messages of support from the Unites States, Winnipeg and across Ontario.
They are ensuring someone is constantly at the site 24/7
