It was a big day at the Habitat for Humanity build site in Quinte West Friday.
Staff from McDougall Insurance and Financial were on hand to assist not only with sweat equity, but some serious financial help too.
A cheque was given to Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings for $15,000 to help with the Trenton build, at 143 Bay Street. It is part of a $25,000 donation the company is giving the local chapter of Habitat.
McDougall spokesperson Caley Weese tells Quinte News, it is always important for the company to give back to the community.
Executive Director for Habitat PEH Bob Clute says the people at McDougall do more than just donate money.
A project in Bancroft is also getting a $10,000 donation as part of the overall $25,000.
