There is no change in water levels on the Trent River between Glen Ross and Frankford since yesterday morning, but the flood warning there is still in effect.
It was issued by Lower Trent Conservation after water levels increased from Saturday, but the levels remain steady today.
L-T-C Communications Coordinator Marilyn Bucholtz says cold weather this week will result in the continued buildup of frazil ice, causing ice jamming and higher water levels.
A flood advisory remains in effect for the rest of the Trent River from Frankford to Trenton and from Glen Ross to Hastings.
Meanwhile, the flood threat was reduced at the mouth of the Moira River in Belleville after a backhoe was put into use on Saturday.
