Back by popular demand, the 3rd Annual Greek OPA Festival gets underway on Saturday.
There will be traditional Greek foods served including chicken souvlaki, roast potatoes, rice, salad, as well as hand made moussaka and pastitsio and a variety of Greek desserts.
Organizer John Nicholas says they will be selling some authentic items from Greece too.
In addition to Greek delicacies and liquours there will also be a traditional, 3-piece band, “Seizmos” from Toronto.
There will be face painting and hand drawn henna too.
The event is at the Greek Banquet Hall at 170 Harder Drive from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission is $5, children under 12 are free.
