The Hastings Prince Edward School Board is delving into Aboriginal education.
At Monday night’s board meeting, staff from several northern Hastings County schools discussed programs they have implemented, which utilize the Aboriginal Education model.
Troy Maracle is in charge of the programs for the public board and says Aboriginal Education looks at the whole child.
Maracle says although the programs are integrated in the northern area of the board, they’re looking at what they can do in the southern area of Hastings, along with The County.
