There were lots of good comments from boaters using the new Trent Port Marina at the mouth of the Trent River in Quinte West.
And, city officials say the first full season of operation for the marina was a resounding success.
A report shows 164 of 274 seasonal docks were reserved this year, mostly by boaters from the Quinte region, but also from Whitby and Toronto.
Meanwhile, almost 800 transient boats stopped in at the marina, staying for an average of 2 days.
Many transient boaters were from the Toronto area, with some coming from Rochester as well.
