Belleville Police tended to an injured man overnight.
Officers responded to Walmsley Place in regards to the injured man, who was lying in the street.
The man was transported to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries.
The initial investigation revealed that the man and another person were in some kind of altercation and that there was an interaction between a vehicle and the injured person.
The investigation continues.
