The Belleville Police Service responded to 64 calls for service between October 19th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and October 20th, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario – On the 20th day of October 2016 at 1:40 a.m. police attended an apartment building on George Street, regarding a noisy person running around the halls. Police found a 60 year male causing a disturbance. Police issued the male a noise bylaw ticket and left. A very short time later police had to return because the same 60 year old male was still causing a problem. Upon attending the second time police arrested the male for public intoxication and brought him to the Belleville Police Service.
Domestic
Belleville, Ontario- On the 20th day of October 2016 at 2:30 a.m. police began an investigation into a domestic situatio , around the Emily Street area. Investigation revealed some damage had been done to property and a 22 year old male was arrested for mischief. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana. The male was held for a bail hearing on today’s date.
