The bridge is just about open.
Belleville city staff are expecting the first vehicles to cross the CP rail on Bay Bridge Road into The County tomorrow (Friday).
Mayor Taso Christopher says he is thrilled.
The exact time for the change over isn’t known, however it will be sometime Friday.
Demolition of the current bridge is expected to begin next month.
It is part of a $21 million project, stretching from Sidney Street to Coleman.
Work on Dundas Street will continue through the next several weeks.
