The Mayor of Quinte West is pleading with local residents to conserve water, this after the report of many more wells running dry.
Tuesday morning, Jim Harrison contacted Quinte News to try and get the word out.
He says numerous neighbours in the rural portion of the municipality are reporting that water has dried up and they are in dire need.
Harrison wants to remind residents that there is bulk water available on Perry Lane in Batawa, available for purchase.
