The Health and Wellness Centre at Loyalist College is getting a major funding boost.
Tuesday morning in the nursing wing, MP Neil Ellis and Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Jeff Leal announced funding worth $3.2 million
Loyalist Interim President Diane Spencer says the money will allow upgrades to health care learning facilities now, and pave the way for a “lifelong health and wellness centre”.
Bay of Quinte riding MP Neil Ellis says the money will pave the way for a better future for students for years to come.
The feds are giving $1.6 million, the province $800,000 and the college, another $800,000.
