It was a banner night for the Napanee Raiders Saturday night – and for their star players.
The Raiders showed no mercy in laying a 13-2 beat-down on the Campbellford Rebels in a game where veteran forward Riley Steeves notched seven points – two goals and five assists.
Former Wellington Duke Brodie Maracle also chipped in handsomely with four goals and two assists for six points. Another former Duke, Justynn Steven, added two goals as well and five other Raiders found the back of the net.
Andrew White-Copegog had a goal and an assist for the struggling Rebels, who haven’t won a game yet this season.
Napanee outshot Campbellford by a whopping 70-21 margin.
