No one was injured in a fire that destroyed 3 cottages on the shores of Rice Lake early this morning.
Fire broke out at Willowood Camp and Cottages around 5 o’clock.
Alnwick-Haldimand Fire Chief Allen Mann says the fire started in one small cottage and then quickly spread to two others.
All 3 were vacant.
The cause is under investigation.
Alnwick-Haldimand and Trent Hills firefighters responded. Support was provided by Cramahe and Hamilton Township fire departments.
