The Belleville Police Service responded to 67 calls for service between October 7th 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and October 8th 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Assault with a weapon
At 11:30 p.m. on October 7th 2016, police located a man wanted by Toronto Police for a domestic assault with a weapon which had occurred several hours earlier in Toronto. A 42 year old Belleville man was arrested in the city’s west end and turned over to Toronto Police. The male was held pending a bail hearing.
