The Wellington Dukes and the Georgetown Raiders played a hard fought game last night at the Essroc Centre, with Georgetown coming out on top with a 4 to 3 win.
Despite having 10 power play opportunities, the Dukes could only score twice with the man advantage.
Scorers for Wellington were Justin Bean, Mitchell Mendonca, and Nic Mucci.
It was the Dukes’ second loss of the season, and the first on home ice.
A crowd of 561 watched the game.
Wellington is now in second place, behind the Trenton Golden Hawks.
