It is a multi-million dollar project for Belleville and a major portion is almost finished.
This week Mayor Taso Christopher told Quinte News contractors are hoping to finish the Bay Bridge road bridge by month’s end.
Christopher says they are on schedule.
Christopher says despite some of the traffic snarls, the road workers kept vehicles moving.
Christopher says they will now aggressively target the reconstruction work on Dundas Street West, to be complete by November.
